Cluster Removal

Removing the gauge cluster from a Honda S2000

These instructions assume you have good mechanical knowledge, and are competent working with vehicle airbag systems.

Before starting work read the precautions on working with the SRS / Airbag System and are familiar with how to disconnect the SRS / Airbag Connectors.

If you are in any doubt you should have a suitably trained mechanic undertake the work for you.

Removal of the gauge cluster is broadly as follows:

  1. Disconnect the vehicle battery.
  2. Remove the driver's airbag.
  3. Remove the steering wheel.
  4. Remove the control stalk assembly.
  5. Remove the instrument panel trim.
  6. Remove the gauge cluster.
