The air box as supplied to be from the bike breakers.

 

Cover and air filter removed, very impressive design and build quality.

 

Notice that the right hand intake trumpet is chamfered.

 

Air temperature sensor - remove and keep this as it is the same sensor used on all Honda PGM-Fi systems.

 

The only part we really need to keep from the air box is the plate through which the air horns mount - roughly cut this off as shown and discard the air box after removing all useful screws, sensors etc. The bodies are bolted to the air box through the horns, three screws on each pair.
