Control Stalks

Removal

To remove the control stalks assembly the SRS cable reel must be removed first. This provides an electrical connection to the airbag, horn and controls on the steering wheel, while still allowing it to rotate.

Before removing the cable reel note the orientation. If you centred the wheels correctly before removing the steering wheel the arrow on the cable reel should be pointing upwards.
