Some time ago I found the need to have extra gauges in my car but did not want to cover the dashboard with untidy and expensive aftermarket gauges.

I found that there was no system available on the market that met my very specific needs (and budget), so the only way to go was to design and build my own.

This project has taken two separate strands - using a miniature mono LCD display that operates alongside the standard Honda gauge cluster, and a system designed as a complete replacement for the stock gauge cluster.

At the centre of both of these units is a control unit which communicates with the Honda PGM-Fi ECU over a serial link and additional sensors for EGT, AFR oil pressure.

These projects have been temporarily shelved while I develop the S2000 cluster conversion - I currently have the S2000 cluster fitted to my car.
