I decided to mount the ballast units underneath the headlights - this was an ideal spot as it is shrouded by the bumper to keep out the elements, and would keep the engine bay looking tidy with no extra clutter.

The brackets provided with the kit were used, and each was bolted to the top of the chassis leg using the parts provided in the kit.
